What information do we collect and why?
We will collect certain personal information from and about you in the course of your relationship with us.
This information includes your name, address, age, gender, contact and emergency contact details, club you train at and the coach you train with, your full grading and junior reward history, your medical declaration, authorised equipment purchased and your PKA licence information.
We collect this information from you when you do a free trial class or sign up to join our clubs and also from any grading, license, course or tournament application.
Why do we collect your information and how is it used?
We only use your information for purposes of KickboxUK Limited and this information is never shared with any third party.
We use your information as follows:
1) Trial class information - Name, address, age, gender, contact details for marketing purposes for potential students who did not join our club after the trial class. For feedback to help improve our clubs and to keep you informed of any club specific special offers or new clubs we may have opening near you.
2) Student information - Name, address, age, gender, contact and emergency contact details club you train at and the coach you train with. For feedback to help improve our clubs and to keep you informed of any event or activity happening at your club. This could include a club closure due to adverse weather or a up coming tournament or grading you need to be aware of
3) Medical Declaration - To ensure you can train in a safe environment and your coach is aware of any issues that may affect your training
4) Full Grading history - In case you lose your red book, or move to another PKA club at your request we can use this information to validate your current national grade to avoid you having to re-take grades
5) Junior award history - In the event the junior student loses or misplaces their card
6) Authorised equipment purchases. To ensure we can provide this information in case of an insurance claim for injury in the class
7) Your PKA License information. To ensure we can help remind you to renew your insurance and membership.
